Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking an APS Central Operations Planner to balance supply and demand against manufacturing capacity, delivering on-time products at optimal cost. The role directs production coordination, positions materials, and escalates issues to meet service levels.

Hybrid work arrangement with three days in the office. Ideal candidates have a degree in a technical field or 6–10 years of relevant experience, strong Excel and planning system skills, and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred; 6–10 years of relevant experience if no degree.
• Advanced Excel proficiency for data analysis, cleansing, reporting and visualization.
• Experience with supply and demand planning systems like SAP IBP and Power BI.
• Minimum five years in manufacturing, supply chain, planning or analysis roles.
• Strong cross-functional communication and ability to align stakeholders around the plan.
• Systems-thinking mindset across end-to-end planning impacts.

Responsibilities

• Lays out short-term demand and supply plans across manufacturing and supply chain.
• Develops detailed production schedules based on demand, forecasts and capacity.
• Manages inventory to meet customer requirements and reduce costs.
• Identifies risks and creates contingency plans to safeguard service.
• Communicates plans, constraints and priorities to stakeholders.
• Monitors performance to drive improvements in asset use and execution.
