Job summary

LyondellBasell Industries in Evansville, Indiana, seeks an APS Central Operations Planner to balance supply and demand against manufacturing capacity and build the optimal plan through Integrated Business Planning.

You will lead production scheduling, manage inventory, coordinate with manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and logistics, and implement contingency plans to maintain on-time, cost-efficient delivery. This hybrid role offers growth opportunities within a leading chemical company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a technical field; 6–10 years of relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Advanced Excel proficiency for data analysis, cleansing, reporting and visualization.
• Experience with supply and demand planning systems (SAP, IBP) and analytics tools (Power BI, Analysis for Office).
• Minimum of five years in manufacturing, supply chain, business planning/analysis, or related areas.
• Strong cross-functional communication to align stakeholders with the operating plan.

Responsibilities

• Lead short- and long-term demand and supply planning for assigned areas.
• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on demand plans and capacity.
• Manage inventory across the supply network to optimize costs and service.
• Identify risks and create contingency plans to maintain customer service.
• Communicate production plans, inventory availability, and priorities to stakeholders.
• Monitor performance and drive improvements in asset utilization and plan execution.
