Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking an APS Central Operations Planner to balance supply and demand, coordinating with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, and Materials to build the optimal operating plan. The role directs production, allocation, and fulfillment to meet demand at lowest cost while protecting service levels.

This hybrid position requires a strong background in demand/supply planning, advanced Excel, and experience with SAP/IBP. 3 days in office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 6–10 years of relevant experience in supply chain planning.
• Advanced Excel for data analysis, cleansing, reporting, and visualization.
• Experience with SAP, IBP, Power BI, and Analysis for Office preferred.
• Minimum five years in manufacturing, supply chain, or business planning roles.
• Strong cross-functional communication to align stakeholders on the operating plan.

Responsibilities

• Lead short-term demand and supply planning for assigned areas.
• Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand, forecasts, and capacity.
• Manage inventory across the supply network to optimize costs and service.
• Identify risks and develop contingency plans to maintain customer service.
• Communicate plans and constraints to stakeholders across functions.
• Monitor performance and drive improvements in asset utilization and plan execution.
