Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking an APS Central Operations Planner to balance supply and demand with manufacturing and capacity. You will drive the operating plan, coordinate production and fulfillment, and optimize inventory for on-time delivery and cost efficiency.

The role emphasizes collaboration across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing, with a hybrid work arrangement (3 days in office). Strong analytical, communication, and systems-thinking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 6–10 years of relevant experience if no degree.
• Advanced Excel proficiency for data analysis, cleansing, reporting, and visualization.
• Experience with SAP, IBP, Power BI, and Analysis for Office.
• Minimum five years in manufacturing, supply chain, planning, or related fields.
• Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder alignment.
• Self-directed, results-oriented with problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated systems-thinking across end-to-end planning.

Responsibilities

• Leads short-term demand and supply planning across business areas.
• Develops and maintains detailed production schedules from demand plans and capacity.
• Manages inventory to meet customer requirements and reduce costs.
• Identifies risks, constraints, and develops contingency plans.
• Communicates plans, inventory, constraints, and priorities to stakeholders.
• Monitors performance to identify gaps and drive improvements in asset utilization.
