Job summary

Sara Lee Frozen Bakery is seeking a Supply Planning Manager to lead two planners across assigned bakeries and external manufacturing partners. The role blends hands-on planning with leadership, process improvement, and tool design in a fast-paced environment.

Located at our corporate office in Oak Brook, IL, with a hybrid work arrangement. The position requires a Bachelor's in a related field, 5+ years in supply planning, and strong Excel/CPG experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field required
• MBA preferred
• 5+ years of progressive supply chain experience, including hands-on supply planning and master scheduling
• Experience with CPG/food manufacturing preferred
• APICS/ASCM certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement across supply planning end-to-end processes
• Oversee planning activities including manufacturing alignment and S&OP process
• Balance hands-on planning with leadership and coaching of planners
• Develop planners' technical skills and planning judgment
• Improve planning tools, processes, and performance metrics
• Collaborate with planning, manufacturing, Demand Planning, Logistics, and Technology teams to design future planning capabilities
• Monitor KPIs and drive corrective actions to meet targets
• Communicate risks and coordinate responses to protect customer service
