Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Supply Planner to integrate purchasing with production planning, ensuring material availability and on-time delivery. The role uses ERP/MRP to issue POs, manage supplier performance, and align schedules with production and demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, operations, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in purchasing, production planning, or inventory control in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
• Ability to analyze data and translate into actionable supply plans.
• Self-starter, team player, results-oriented with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Issue purchase orders and manage supplier commitments to ensure timely material fulfillment.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules to optimize cost and supply reliability.
• Monitor supplier performance using OTIF metrics and take corrective actions as needed.
• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules aligned with demand and capacity.
