Job summary

Reliable Safety & Flow Corporation is seeking a Supply Chain Planner in Oak Brook, IL. You will develop, lead, and execute advanced supply planning strategies to optimize inventory, ensure high service levels, and drive cost efficiencies across the supply chain.

You will mentor junior planners and collaborate with purchasing, demand planning, product management, and operations to align supply plans with organizational goals. Strong analytical skills and data-driven leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field; MBA or certifications preferred.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder) and SIOP processes.
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI or similar data visualization preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee optimal inventory levels for finished goods, balancing demand forecasts, lead times, storage constraints, and carrying costs.
• Lead pre-build strategies to mitigate capacity constraints or extended supplier lead times.
• Lead safety stock analysis and optimization initiatives, utilizing advanced statistical modeling to dynamically adjust levels and minimize stockouts.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or related field

Advanced degree (MBA) or relevant certifications (APICS CPIM, CSCP) preferred
