Xylem, a Fortune 500 global water solutions company, is hiring a Supply Planner for onsite work in Morton Grove, IL. You will integrate purchasing with production planning to ensure material availability and on-time delivery using ERP/MRP systems.

The role emphasizes data analysis, supplier management, and detailed production scheduling with a focus on reducing costs and improving service levels. A Bachelor’s in a related field and 3+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Operations, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in purchasing, production planning, or inventory control.
• Experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in ERP/MRP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis).
• Ability to analyze data and translate into actionable supply plans.
• Self-starter, a team player, result oriented with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset with ability to identify process inefficiencies and support operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Procurement & Supplier Management: issue purchase orders, manage commitments, negotiate costs, and monitor OTIF.
• Planning & Inventory Management: develop production schedules, manage capacity, monitor adherence, communicate changes.
• Coordinate with production and management to align schedules and recovery plans.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency and performance.
