Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Production Planner to develop and manage production schedules, coordinate materials, and optimize plant performance. You will work across supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, and quality teams to balance customer needs with capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Intl Business, Operations or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years in production planning, supply chain, or manufacturing.
• Strong analytical skills with Excel and data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with inventory management and production planning methods.
• Experience using ERP/MRP or inventory systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules to meet demand and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate materials with purchasing, production, and logistics teams.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement control to optimize stock and reduce waste.
• Analyze production performance, capacity, and costs to improve efficiency.
• Support quality initiatives by coordinating corrective actions and ensuring requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement by evaluating workflows and implementing enhancements.
