Job summary

Interstate Batteries in Dallas seeks a Supply Planning Analyst to support the execution of supply planning, inventory management, and customer fulfillment strategies to ensure product availability while optimizing inventory investment, working capital, and service performance.

The role partners with Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Procurement, Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and Distributor Operations to identify supply risks, support problem resolution, and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Operations, Analytics or related field.
2–5 years of experience in supply planning, inventory management, forecasting, analytics or related functions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data interpretation and recommendations.
Experience using ERP systems such as SAP.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Support development and execution of supply plans balancing service, inventory, and operational objectives.
Monitor inventory positions, supply constraints, forecasts, and service performance to identify risks and opportunities.
Analyze inventory health and recommend actions to improve productivity and reduce shortages or excess.
Support inventory policy management, replenishment strategies, and long-range planning.
Coordinate with suppliers, procurement, and operations to monitor performance and resolve issues.
Assist in recovery plans for constrained materials and NAC/non-NAC volumes.
