Job summary

Valeo Service in Hamilton, OH is seeking a Supply Chain Scheduler to manage raw material and component inventories and to plan requirements based on Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning and Master Production Schedule. You will forecast to suppliers weekly and ensure material availability to meet customer demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Science degree.
• 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Logistics.
• At least 1 year of experience in a high-speed manufacturing plant.
• Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
• Automotive experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Experience with Google or Microsoft Administrative applications.

Responsibilities

• Be in charge of the inventory level of their raw materials and components families.
• Plan the raw materials and components requirement based on S&OP and MPS and anticipate impacts with suppliers and production.
• Validate and send weekly forecasts to suppliers and ensure material availability to meet customer demand.
• Follow up daily material arrivals and ensure on-time shipping of parts according to firm orders.
• Attend logistics/purchasing meetings and communicate accurate information to supplier contacts; escalate when necessary.
• Identify blocking points and propose quick actions; liaise with external flow analyst and purchasing to optimize the supply chain.
