Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Production Scheduler in Ohio to coordinate schedules and inventories, acting as a primary liaison with internal and external vendors on core inventories, schedules, quality, and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Schedules customer orders with the Operation working closely with Sales, Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing.
• Prepare weekly schedule status reports for customers.
• Monitors vendor core progress of production schedules on a daily basis with other departments to identify and correct problems.
• Communicates daily with customers regarding issues and schedules.
• Periodically compares current and anticipated orders with available inventory of raw materials; uses judgment to anticipate demand for and to acquire additional supplies as needed.
• Integrates sales orders with production schedule; coordinates availability of raw materials, supplies and equipment.
• Interface with all departments to support business needs.
• Participates in periodic forecasting meetings with sales.
• Some travel required within Northeast Ohio.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
