Job summary
R+L Carriers in Antioch, TN is seeking a Supply Chain Consultant to cultivate and grow existing accounts while acquiring new business and developing logistics solutions tailored to each client. You will present the full range of services, draft business plans, prepare quotes, and work with Capacity Procurement to ensure loads are serviced on time while building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in logistics and transportation.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education plus work experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and foster relationships.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment and make timely decisions.
- Experience with multiple freight modes is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Acquire and develop new business with clients and partners.
- Cultivate relationships to maximize account potential.
- Create and drive business plans to meet sales goals.
- Maintain knowledge of services, resources, and competitive landscape.
- Present services to build complete logistics solutions for customers.
- Prepare quotes to meet monthly/quarterly targets.
- Coordinate with Capacity Procurement to service loads as promised.
- Communicate with Capacity team and carriers about issues.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with customers.
- Meet face-to-face to deepen relationships and upsell services.
