Job summary

R+L Global Logistics is seeking a Supply Chain Consultant to cultivate and expand key customer relationships and develop strategic logistics solutions that meet evolving business needs. You will create and manage business plans, present full-service offerings, and collaborate with capacities teams to ensure reliable service levels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in logistics/transportation including third-party full truckload and final mile.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education plus work experience.
• Strong team-building and interpersonal skills with trust-building ability.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment and make timely decisions.
• Experience across multiple modes: dry van, expedited, flatbed, refrigerated, intermodal.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and develop new business and larger accounts.
• Cultivate relationships with existing customers to grow accounts.
• Create and drive business plan strategies to meet sales goals.
• Maintain knowledge of services, resources, and competitive strategies.
• Present services to customers to build comprehensive logistics solutions.
• Build strong customer relationships and understand market trends.
• Prepare quotes to meet monthly and quarterly targets.
• Coordinate with Capacity Procurement to service loads as expected.
• Communicate with Capacity team and carriers about issues.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with customers.
• Meet with clients face-to-face to introduce additional services.
