Job summary

RLglobal in Texas is seeking a Supply Chain Consultant to cultivate and maintain relationships with existing customers while acquiring larger accounts, developing strategic supply chain solutions to meet client needs.

You will present services, build logistics solutions, coordinate with capacity procurement, and conduct quarterly business reviews to drive growth.

The role requires 5+ years in logistics, a related Bachelor's, and fluent English; experience with McLeod or Cargowise is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in logistics and transportation industry, including freight management.
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent education plus work experience.
• Strong team-building and interpersonal skills to build trust with customers.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment and make timely decisions.
• Prefer experience in multiple freight modes: dry van, expedited, flatbed, oversized, refrigerated, intermodal.
• Experience with freight management software (McLeod and Cargowise a plus).
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and develop new business.
• Cultivate relationships with existing customers to grow accounts.
• Create and drive a business plan strategy to meet sales goals.
• Maintain knowledge of company services, resources, competition, and customer needs.
• Present full service offerings to customers to build comprehensive logistics solutions.
• Prepare quotes for partners to meet monthly and quarterly goals.
• Coordinate with Capacity Procurement to ensure loads are serviced as expected.
• Communicate with Capacity team and carriers about issues affecting shipments.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with customers.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings to strengthen relationships and upsell services.
