Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in San Diego, CA seeks a Supply Chain Program Manager to own strategy, planning and execution of program-specific material content and supplier performance. You will lead cross-functional teams to meet DoD certifications and program commitments while driving cost reduction and quality improvements.

This role requires up to 25-50% travel, reports to the Director of Logistics, and offers a hybrid work arrangement with strong emphasis on supplier collaboration, risk management

Qualifications

• Eight to ten years of vendor management, strategic sourcing, cost reduction and/or TCO in aerospace/defense.
• Understanding FAR/DFARS, ITAR and DoD regs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government security clearance.
• Experience drafting, negotiating and executing MSAs, LTAs, T&Cs, NDAs and other supplier contracts.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements program sourcing and material strategies based on program requirements and performance.
• Manages supplier relationships and negotiates pricing/terms, reviews scorecards and drives cost reduction.
• Leads Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with key suppliers.
• Oversees outsourcing/insourcing with transition plans and critical-path actions.
• Negotiates complex awards (MSAs, LTAs, NDAs, T&Cs) within budget and contractual obligations.
• Delivers program briefings and executive updates on supply base status.
• Acts as primary escalation path for supply chain risks, shortages or disruptions.
• Ensures QA compliance with AS9100 and proper waiver/deviation procedures.
• Participates in IPT to address material status, risk and mitigation related to cost, delivery, quality.
