Job summary

You will collaborate across sourcing, procurement, engineering, operations, quality, and program management to drive execution and meet customer commitments.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in supply chain or defense manufacturing, experience with government contracting, and strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, program management, operations, or defense manufacturing.
• Aerospace and/or defense industry experience.
• Experience supporting government, military, or defense-related programs.
• Working knowledge of U.S. Government acquisition, procurement, and contracting processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and driving accountability without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the dedicated supply chain lead for assigned aerospace and defense programs.
• Coordinate activities across sourcing, procurement, engineering, quality, manufacturing, and program management teams.
• Develop and maintain integrated material plans and schedules.
• Monitor supplier performance and proactively mitigate supply chain risks.
• Support customer requirements, contract changes, proposal efforts, and program reviews.
• Drive material readiness and ensure on-time delivery of critical components.
• Lead cross-functional problem solving to address shortages, constraints, and logistical challenges.
• Implement mitigation strategies for supplier, capacity, and production risks.
• Track and communicate key program metrics, progress updates, risks, and action plans.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.
