Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Supply Chain Program Manager 1 to lead day-to-day execution for the Sentinel GBSD program from Roy, UT or Huntsville, AL. The role focuses on subcontractor management, BOM oversight, and cross-functional collaboration with senior leadership.

You’ll drive material cost forecasting, schedule performance, and risk/opportunity management while coordinating with the Subcontracts Organization and program offices. A DoD Secret clearance is required at time of application.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of related experience; or a master’s degree and at least 3 years.
• 3+ years of experience managing suppliers.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to achieve cost, performance, and schedule requirements.
• Experience analyzing supplier impacts on business unit financials for both externally and internally funded scope.
• Must have an interim U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day supply chain execution for major subcontractors and BOMs.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align business requirements with subcontract strategies.
• Manage resource planning, material cost, forecasting, and schedule performance.
• Support pre-/post-solicitation meetings and proposal development.
• Develop material and subcontractor strategy across all phases of the acquisition process.
• Ensure schedules, budgets, and procurement plans are complete before execution.
• Brief management on cost and schedule status.
