Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Procurement Manager 2 in Roy, UT to lead a procurement team supporting the Sentinel program. The role entails directing staff, ensuring policy adherence, managing RFQs, bid analysis, purchase orders, and supplier performance while negotiating terms and developing sourcing strategies.

U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance are required; previous aerospace/defense experience and familiarity with FAR/DFARs are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with years of relevant experience in supply chain/procurement
• Experience leading procurement staff and ensuring compliance
• Experience with RFQs, bid analysis, purchase orders and supplier performance

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of staff and daily work prioritization
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Manage RFQs, bid analysis, purchase orders and supplier relationships
• Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts
• Develop supplier sourcing strategies and manage supplier performance
• Coordinate cross-functionally inside and outside the organization
• Support procurement policies, training, and development
• Plan and assign procurement resources to match skills and duties
• Provide independent reviews of procurement packages for audits
