Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, UT seeks a Director of Supply Chain Programs to lead day-to-day supply chain execution for the Sentinel program. You will drive end-to-end material planning, procurement, issuing and flow to manufacturing, reporting to the Senior Director of Supply Chain Programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 10+ years in defense or aerospace systems and/or management in development or production projects.
• Experience managing people and leading managers to meet cost, performance and schedule requirements.
• Experience in production operations environment and advanced supply chain techniques.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and ability to obtain US Government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Defines end-to-end material and equipment planning, procurement, issuing and consumption strategy for efficient material flow to manufacturing sites and test labs.
• Identify inefficiencies in material flow and implement changes to reduce delays; measure KPIs.
• Collaborate with Production Operations, Quality Assurance, Engineering and other functions to streamline material flow.
• Coordinate with Contracts to tailor or remove onerous requirements affecting production contracts.
• Brief leadership and PMO on status, issues, and improvement actions.
