Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Finished Goods Planner in Shelton, CT to manage SAP-based planning and supplier coordination. You will ensure product availability, maintain line fill metrics, and support inventory targets while collaborating with Customer Service, Sourcing, and Marketing.

The role emphasizes strong communication, data analysis, and cross-functional teamwork to meet service levels and financial goals in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred with 1–3 years planning/purchasing experience.
• Experience using SAP and Power BI is preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and good written/oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Communicate Purchase Order requirements to external suppliers.
• Achieve key performance metrics including fill rate, DOH, on-time delivery, safety stock shortfall, ETP, and E&O.
• Support Sourcing by participating in monthly meetings with key suppliers to discuss market trends, demand, quality, and on-time performance.
• Monitor and modify planning parameters to meet service and inventory objectives; resolve master data issues affecting PFR products.
• Lead invoice resolution with suppliers and accounts payable to reconcile discrepancies.
• Review weekly exception management with suppliers for expedites, past-due POs, and cancellations.
• Communicate with suppliers on-time compliance, freight/routing guides, delivery, and quality reconciliations.
• Generate weekly/monthly reports and data analyses including backorders and lead time analysis; support Power BI requirements.
• Support PFR projects by representing supply team in NPD projects.
• Ad-hoc reporting and analysis; effective communication with internal/external stakeholders.
