Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Production Planner to organize materials, quantities, and priority order for plant manufacturing. You will coordinate workflow across departments to hit on‑time delivery, create Production Orders, and manage backlog with Purchasing and Warehouse collaboration.

Strong communication and problem‑solving are essential for success. Education includes a Bachelor's degree; APICS CPIM and SAP/Excel experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions and write professional correspondence.
• Ability to reprioritize tasks and communicate effectively to resolve production issues.
• Experience with manufacturing planning and coordinating with multiple departments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan materials, quantities, and priority order of manufacturing jobs.
• Coordinate flow of work within and between departments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Create and schedule Production Orders to meet capacity and delivery goals.
• Review backlog and assess output by process line daily.
• Resolve shortages with Purchasing and coordinate with Warehouse on storage pick lists.
• Expedite lead times and respond to shipping requests.
• Draft new Work Instructions and participate in production control meetings.
