Job summary

ASC Engineered Solutions, LLC seeks a Supply Chain Planner in Oak Brook, IL to develop and execute advanced supply planning strategies, balancing inventory, demand, and capacity to maximize service and minimize costs.

The role partners with purchasing, demand planning, product management, and operations. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in supply planning, strong analytical and ERP/MRP skills, and a passion for process innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or related field.
• 3-5 years of supply chain experience in manufacturing or consumer goods.
• Proficiency in MRP and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder).
• Experience with SIOP processes, including SIOP Supply Review.
• Advanced Excel for data analysis; Power BI familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee optimal inventory levels for finished goods, balancing demand forecasts and carry costs.
• Lead pre-build strategies to mitigate capacity constraints and long lead times.
• Perform safety stock analysis and optimization using data-driven models to minimize stockouts and improve turns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven insights and improve supply reliability.
• Lead excess inventory management to improve turns and reduce days-on-hand.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements with demand planning, purchasing, and operations.
• Own the at-risk inventory process and drive corrective actions with suppliers.
• Maintain master planning data in planning system (e.g., Blue Yonder) and ERP.
• Support SIOP process focusing on supply; align with demand forecasts and capacity.
