Job summary

Autocar Parts LLC is seeking a Supply Chain Planner in Highland Park, IL. The role focuses on analytics-driven planning to ensure parts availability, while collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to optimize inventory and meet delivery targets.

The candidate will manage supplier relationships, monitor schedules, and drive continuous improvement in planning processes, enabling efficient operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years of supply chain planning experience.
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Self-starter who can work independently.
• Understanding of DRP, demand planning, and inventory planning.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage supplier base and lead initiatives to strengthen planning processes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure product availability and optimize inventory levels.
• Monitor production schedules, shipments, and open purchase orders for on-time delivery.
• Identify material availability risks and communicate them proactively.
• Analyze planning data to improve forecasting and replenishment accuracy.
• Track PO and shipment status within ERP systems.
• Lead monthly supplier collaboration meetings.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and special projects.
• Manage supply and demand to meet inventory targets.
