Job summary

GTI Fabrication is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to own the production and material requirements plans for a value stream. You will manage a rolling 12-week horizon, coordinate with the Production Operations Manager and Materials Management, and drive pull replenishment while ensuring on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include coordinating with procurement on shortages, maintaining ERP/MRP data integrity, and leading continuous improvement in planning processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of combined experience across Production Planning/Scheduling and Materials Planning/MRP.
• Strong ERP/MRP system experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, MRPeasy, IFS, Epicor, or similar).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
• Excellent analytical, cross-functional communication, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to operate with real decision authority in a fast-paced environment.
• APICS/CPIM or CSCP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the rolling 12-week production plan for the assigned value stream / customer program.
• Manage plan details for weeks 1-4 and 5-12 with execution-grade detail and pre-positioning.
• Translate demand, milestones, and priorities into executable schedules across work centers.
• Reconcile plan against actual performance; adjust before misses occur.
• Own MRP execution with BOM-driven demand and supplier lead times.
• Maintain a live material tracker and coordinate with Procurement to resolve shortages.
• Lead CTB determinations and readiness gates before work-order release.
• Partner with value stream operations and materials management for pull replenishment and line-side stores.
• Develop dashboards covering schedule attainment, material availability, and OTD.
