Job summary

GTI is seeking a Value Stream Planner to own the production and material requirements plan for a key customer program. You will sit with the value stream squad and partner closely with Production Operations and Materials Management to drive end-to-end execution.

You will manage a rolling 12-week schedule, protect CTB readiness, and lead pull replenishment with line-side stores to ensure on-time delivery and strong schedule attainment across the value stream.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years in Production Planning/Scheduling and Materials Planning/MRP.
• Strong ownership of a production schedule and material plan.
• Strong ERP/MRP experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, MRPeasy, IFS, Epicor).
• Advanced Excel skills and KPI dashboard experience.
• Strong analytical and cross-functional communication; able to make decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own rolling 12-week production plan for the value stream / program.
• Manage plan in two bands: weeks 1-4 in execution detail; weeks 5-12 in capacity/material detail.
• Translate demand into executable schedule across work centers.
• Reconcile plan against actual performance; adjust ahead of misses.
• Evaluate capacity with Ops for staffing and overtime needs.
• Hold sequencing and release within the freeze window; escalate exceptions.
• Own CTB determination and readiness gate before release.
• Sit with Production Operations Lead as planning counterpart; attend floor walks and huddles.
• Partner with Materials Management to align material flow and pull replenishment.
• Build dashboards for schedule attainment, material availability, shortage aging, OTD, inventory health.
