Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation in Hollis, NH is seeking a Supply Planner to lead the planning and monitoring of materials to meet customer demand. This role creates production schedules, manages replenishment, and collaborates with procurement, operations and customer service to mitigate supply risks.

The ideal candidate has a four-year degree in a related field, 1–4 years planning experience in discrete manufacturing, and strong Excel and ERP planning skills, including experience with Logility.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree in Supply Chain Management or related technical discipline.
• 1-4 years planning experience in a discrete manufacturing environment.
• General knowledge of ERP / planning systems and proficiency with technology tools that enable planning and reporting; Logility strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills including mathematical/statistical abilities.
• Proficiency in process analysis and improvement.
• Strong organizational skills and initiative to manage multiple priorities and drive results.
• Experience with LEAN manufacturing and relevant concepts/methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills; 6 sigma certification a plus.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tools and macros.

Responsibilities

• Monitor demand signals to identify changes and assess impact on replenishment strategies and production plans.
• Participate in the S&OP process to align supply with demand and mitigate risks.
• Drive the weekly S&OE process to monitor status against plan and adjust production and material plans as needed.
• Create short-term production schedules at item level considering constraints and monitor plan adherence.
• Develop mid-term production plans at product/cell level to identify capacity constraints and load balancing opportunities.
• Manage all materials replenishment processes (Consignment, VMI, Kanban, MRP) to ensure material availability.
• Execute releases against existing Purchase Orders; follow up with suppliers on past-due releases and feedback on supplier performance.
• Monitor on-time delivery, inventory and freight performance; implement improvement actions.
• Monitor inventory positions against the model and adjust inventory policy as needed.
• Maintain all planning parameters, including PFEP.
