ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions in Berlin seeks a Supply Chain Manager to oversee direct material supply, procurement, planning, and trade compliance to ensure on-time customer order fulfillment. The role drives lean initiatives to improve inventory accuracy, turns, and costs across the materials organization.

You will lead Buyer/Planners, maintain KPI programs, and collaborate with Profit Center Managers to improve planning discipline and supplier relationships while achieving material throughput

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of supply management in a high-volume factory.
• Advanced knowledge of procurement and inventory principles.
• Experience with supply chain issues like shortages, quality, and pricing.
• Mentor a professional team of buyers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP (JDE preferred).
• Good communications and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to Buyer/Planners for planning, inventory accuracy, supplier follow-up and shortages.
• Lead materials management processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage procurement policies and yearly strategic objectives.
• Ensure material throughput and inventory accuracy, and manage obsolescence.
• Oversee Kanban programs with external and internal supply base.
• Monitor KPIs and drive improvements with cross-functional teams.
• SupportProfit Center Managers with supply chain process execution and performance.
