Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee all aspects of direct material supply, from planning to procurement and trade compliance. You will drive continuous improvement in inventory, costs, and supplier performance, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet production goals.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field and 5–7 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management or related field is required.
• 5–7 years of supply management experience in a high-volume factory environment.
• Negotiation skills and procurement experience are essential.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; ERP knowledge (JDE preferred).
• APICS certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and guidance to Buyer/Planners on planning, purchasing, and inventory accuracy.
• Lead materials management processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage procurement policies and establish yearly strategic objectives.
• Oversee KPI tracking for material throughput, inventory accuracy, and supplier performance.
• Lead Kanban program with external and internal supply base.
• Ensure compliance with laws and confidentiality requirements.
