Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Sicherheitstechnik GmbH is seeking a senior procurement leader to establish and drive value-optimized supply strategies across assigned commodities. You will partner with project teams to source, negotiate, and secure favorable price and delivery terms for new components while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

The role requires 7+ years of purchasing experience in manufacturing, international business exposure, and superior negotiation and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or technical field required or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years purchasing experience, preferably in manufacturing with a Fortune 500 company.
• Strong commodity experience within global sourcing.
• Proven negotiating skills, team leadership/management, and project leadership.
• Strong analytical skills and international business experience.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and leads cross functional commodity teams to create and implement value optimizing supply strategies.
• Work with project teams to identify sources and negotiate price and delivery for new components.
• Responsible for the supply relationship within the assigned commodity/commodities.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
