Job summary

Corning Inc. is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Planner to manage production planning, master scheduling, and delivery commitments for fiber optic cable products.

You will coordinate with PLM, Planners, and Operations to align plans with manufacturing realities and drive continuous improvement. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of supply chain experience, plus strong MS Office skills and a working knowledge of SAP/ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of Supply Chain experience.
• Computer literate in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support production planning/master scheduling activities, including order management, resource planning, delivery promising, and production forecasting and reporting of actual manufacturing results vs. plan.
• Coordinating plans and execution with Product Line Management (PLM), Planners, Operations Engineering and Plant Management.
• Lead new system implementation projects and initiatives within Planning and Procurement.
• Work closely with production coordinators and team leaders to establish short- term and long-term expectations and execution of the production plan.
