Job summary

Corning Incorporated in North Carolina is seeking a Supply Chain professional to oversee planning, scheduling, and release of production orders for fiber optic cable, driving on-time delivery to partners and optimization of manufacturing results.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 3 years of supply chain experience, and MS Office proficiency. SAP/ERP knowledge is a plus. Corning offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Computer literate in MS Office.

Responsibilities

Support production planning/master scheduling activities, including order management, resource planning, delivery promising, and production forecasting and reporting of actual manufacturing results vs. plan.
Coordinating plans and execution with Product Line Management (PLM), Planners, Operations Engineering and Plant Management.
Lead new system implementation projects and initiatives within Planning and Procurement.
Work closely with production coordinators and team leaders to establish short- term and long-term expectations and execution of the production plan.
