Job summary

Remora is seeking a Head of Supply Chain to lead and scale supply chain and manufacturing as we move from R&D to production of complex industrial hardware. This hands-on role requires extensive experience in industrial equipment and a proven ability to push projects to on-time delivery in Wixom, MI.

You will own strategic sourcing, manage supplier relationships, and partner with leadership to optimize risk, cash flows, and deployment progress for Remora’s ambitious schedule.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or manufacturing operations.
• Proven experience with industrial process equipment or hardware systems.
• Expertise in supplier sourcing, qualification, procurement, and contract negotiation.
• Strong project management and planning capabilities with a track record of complex projects delivered on time and under budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing of components, fabrication, and contract manufacturing.
• Own supplier relationships from RFQ through qualification, contract negotiation, factory acceptance testing, and on-time delivery.
• Negotiate agreements with suppliers to achieve pricing, lead times, payment terms, risk allocation, and downside protection.
• Build long-term partnerships with suppliers to support rapid growth.
• Develop and implement scalable processes for shipping/receiving, inventory tracking, and quality management.
• Optimize delivery timing and payment terms to improve capital efficiency and ROIC.
• Partner with Engineering, Finance, and Legal on DFM, cost, and contracts.
