Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Director of Manufacturing & Supply Chain to lead the development and execution of manufacturing and supply chain strategies across shop and field operations. This strategic, hands-on role focuses on scaling processes, optimizing resources, and enhancing project execution in a growing industrial services and fabrication environment.

You will drive Lean initiatives, lead procurement and vendor management, and build workforce planning to support company growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership within manufacturing, fabrication, industrial services, construction, or similar industries.
• Experience leading supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, or operations functions.
• Demonstrated success building processes, systems, and organizational structures in growing environments.
• Strong experience with supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing, and vendor management.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute manufacturing and supply chain strategies aligned with business growth objectives.
• Lead sourcing, procurement, supplier management, and contract negotiations.
• Establish operational frameworks, KPIs, reporting structures, and accountability metrics.
• Drive production planning, scheduling, capacity planning, and resource utilization initiatives.
• Partner with operations, project management, and sales teams to improve project delivery and operational performance.
• Implement Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and increase productivity.
• Build workforce planning processes to optimize labor allocation across fabrication and field service operations.
• Oversee rental equipment planning, utilization, forecasting, and vendor relationships.
• Identify and implement process improvements, technology enhancements, and organizational development initiatives.
