Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of progressive materials/supply chain experience required.
• 5+ years of previous supply chain leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in a low volume/high mix manufacturing environment required.
• CPIM or CSCM from APICS preferred.
• Extensive fire truck product knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads a purchasing team to ensure material availability and on-time delivery.
• Manages purchase orders per materials planning requirements and monitors exceptions.
• Oversees inventory control systems and co-ordinates material flow with demand.
• Drives continuous improvement via KPI benchmarking and standardized processes.
• Maintains procedures for direct and indirect material ordering for efficiency.
• Supports stockroom and material handling operations and training.
