Job summary

Rosenbauer South Dakota LLC in Lyons, SD seeks a Supply Chain Manager to lead purchasing and warehouse operations, ensuring on-time, cost-effective material flow. The role builds supplier relationships and drives continuous improvement across the supply chain.

The position requires a 4-year degree, 5+ years in materials/supply chain, and leadership experience in a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing setting. CPIM/CSCM and fire equipment knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of progressive materials/supply chain experience required.
• 5+ years of previous supply chain leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in a low volume/high mix manufacturing environment required.
• APICS CPIM or CSCM certification preferred.
• Extensive fire truck product knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of purchasing professionals to ensure timely, cost-effective materials.
• Creates and approves POs per materials planning (MRP) requirements.
• Oversees inventory control systems and coordinates material flow with demand.
• Implements continuous improvement culture with KPI benchmarking.
• Maintains procedures for direct/indirect materials ordering and safety standards.
• Oversees Stockroom operations and trains staff.
• Ensures inventory accuracy via cycle counts and receiving practices.
• Collaborates with Planning and Materials teams to meet KPIs.
• Supports Strategic Sourcing and supplier relationship management.
