Job summary

Silgan Dispensing Systems is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Manager to lead material planning, procurement, and warehouse operations at the West Spokane facility in Washington. You will drive inventory accuracy, supplier performance, and cross-functional collaboration with Quality and Production teams.

The role requires 5+ years of manufacturing management experience, GMP knowledge, and strong leadership. A Lean approach and proficiency with MS Office are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in an FDA regulated facility with GMP knowledge preferred.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge desired.
• Experience in materials, inventory, procurement, and logistics.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead Supply Chain activities under the Plant Manager guidance.
• Provide leadership through coaching, training and development of staff.
• Manage procurement to ensure materials availability while optimizing cost, quality, lead times and inventory.
• Monitor inventory, shelf life, excess/obsolete items, and mitigation actions.
• Oversee West Spokane Warehouse operations: receipt, storage, shipping, and inventory control.
• Maintain records for shipping and receiving activities.
• Coordinate physical and cycle counts and annual inventory.
• Ensure GMP, FDA, and OSHA compliance.
