Job summary

Silgan Dispensing in Spokane, WA is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead the West Spokane operations and warehouse activities. You will oversee procurement, inventory control, and the movement of raw materials and finished goods to meet production needs while balancing cost, quality, and lead time.

The role requires 5+ years of management experience in manufacturing, with knowledge of GMP/GDP and Lean techniques.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 5 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in FDA-regulated manufacturing with GMP and GDP knowledge.
Experience with materials, inventory management, procurement and logistics.
Proven leadership and ability to drive results through others.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; project management experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project).

Responsibilities

Lead Supply Chain activities under Plant Manager guidance.
Provide coaching and development to Supply Chain staff.
Manage procurement to support production while optimizing cost, quality, lead time and inventory.
Oversee warehouse operations including receiving, storage and shipping.
Coordinate physical and cycle counts; support annual physical inventory.
Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
Support new product introductions, supplier qualification and quality system activities.
Ensure GMP, FDA, OSHA compliance and training of staff.
