Job summary

Skanska is seeking a dynamic Manager - Strategic Supply Chain to lead end-to-end procurement and supply chain activities for major projects. You will develop category strategies, leverage supplier relationships to drive value, and align with central procurement to implement best practices and Skanska Way.

You will coach buyers and colleagues, manage supplier relationships, and contribute to sustainable and ethical procurement while supporting estimating and bidding in multiple project phases.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in progressive procurement/supply-chain.
• 3+ years of experience developing and executing sourcing strategies and managing strategic supplier partnerships.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field or 8 years equivalent experience plus minimum 7 years prior relevant experience.
• Not eligible for employment sponsorship by the company.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end procurement and supply chain activities for one or more business units or large projects.
• Set category strategies and leverage supplier relationships to drive value and cost savings.
• Coordinate with central procurement to implement best practices and Skanska Way; coach buyers, coordinators and category specialists.
• Develop procurement strategies, metrics and plans to improve estimating during SD, DD, CD and GMP phases.
• Manage supplier relationships, prequalification/contract arrangements and lead executive business reviews.
