Job summary

Dakotaland Manufacturing seeks a skilled Supply Chain Manager to lead purchasing and supply chain across Sioux Falls and Watertown, SD. This hands-on leader will build supplier partnerships, develop sourcing strategies, and optimize raw material inventory to support production and manufacturing performance.

You will drive cost, cash flow improvements and supply continuity while leading a high-performing team across locations. A bachelor’s degree and ASCM/ISM certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of leadership, supervisory, or departmental management experience.
• Strong track record in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, supplier performance management, and supply-risk mitigation.
• Experience managing raw material replenishment, inventory turns, and excess/obsolete inventory.
• Proven ability to use data to identify opportunities, manage risk, and improve performance.
• Experience across multiple locations and supplier networks is a plus.

Dakotaland Manufacturing is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and strengthen our purchasing and supply chain function across multiple locations. This position may be based at either our Sioux Falls or Watertown, South Dakota location.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

• 7+ years of progressive purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Demonstrated success in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, supplier performance management, and supply-risk mitigation.
• Experience managing raw material replenishment, inventory investment, inventory turns, and excess and obsolete inventory.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and purchasing and planning processes.
• Strong analytical and business acumen with the ability to use data to identify opportunities, manage risk, and improve performance.
• Proven ability to lead people and influence effectively across functions and locations.
• Experience in metal fabrication, machining, or industrial manufacturing is preferred.

Education & Professional Credentials

A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Procurement, or a related field is preferred. An equivalent combination of education, relevant professional credentials, and experience will be considered.

ASCM CPIM or CSCP, ISM CPSM, or a comparable supply chain or procurement certification is preferred.

Additional Requirement

• Ability to travel between the Sioux Falls and Watertown locations, as well as to supplier locations and other business-related destinations, as needed.
