Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee the entire production flow, from procurement to inventory control, and to drive efficiency, cost control, and quality improvements across the organization. You will lead a cross-functional team and collaborate with suppliers and internal departments to optimize delivery performance.

This role emphasizes strategic ownership, KPI-driven progress, and strong leadership to support Aptiv’s interconnected supply chain network in a hybrid Boston/remote

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5 years of experience in materials (purchasing, planning, inventory control, etc.) or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment or manufacturing management preferred.
• US Person required due to ITAR and defense contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement and materials management activities, including supplier evaluation and negotiation.
• Manage inventory strategy and metrics to optimize customer experience and cash flow.
• Lead lean initiatives (Six Sigma, Kaizen) to reduce waste and improve quality.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, sales, and suppliers to ensure seamless operations.
