Aptiv Interconnect is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize end-to-end operations, from procurement through inventory and delivery metrics. As our Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing our supply chain operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire production flow, from procuring raw materials to managing strategic inventory to improving delivery metrics. Your expertise will ensure that our processes are efficient, cost-effective, and meet high-quality standards. Collaborating with various departments and external partners, you will develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory management, streamline logistics, and improve overall supply chain performance. This position is primarily project-based as a key member of a broader team of operational experts contributing significantly to our organization's success by ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

Leadership & Core Responsibilities:

Strategic Ownership

• Demand Planning management to optimize workflow through production
• Implements and manages lean manufacturing principles such as Six Sigma and Kaizen to optimize production processes, reduce waste, and improve product quality
• Leads and manages all procurement and materials management activities, including order placement, supplier reduction/evaluation/certification, supplier follow-up, price negotiation and compliance with government procurement regulations
• Ensures all the material management policies are consistent with the inventory control objectives
• Implements Inventory build strategies to optimize customer experience and internal cash flow metrics. Includes establishing Min / Max, reduction of E&O, and improving the overall flow of materials through the business.
• Works closely with divisional materials personnel to maintain continuity with purchasing and supplier management processes
• Facilitates corporate purchasing and materials initiatives, including common part numbers, supplier-managed inventory, consolidated purchasing agreements, supplier reduction, and supplier quality certifications
• Conducts performance review, corrective action, and goal setting for direct reports
• Provides career development, mentoring, and succession planning
• Culture and Talent Development - Champion the Interconnect culture and set clear goals and expectations
• Works with a global network of suppliers, with a focus on long-term relationship building, capacity planning and analysis for production based on demand and timeliness
• Leads by example, holds people accountable, and utilizes data to make informed decisions
• Partners with management, production, engineering, sales, employees, vendors, and customers to have a positive impact on the organization

Technical Execution

• Works with production teams to set, track, and execute daily, weekly and monthly goals that take into account personnel and equipment constraints but support overall rate targets (KPI)
• Monitors KPIs to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions
• Maintains AS9100, ISO9001 standards for ITAR-compliant facilities
• Work closely with production, purchasing, and engineering departments to maintain schedules and implement changes and revisions in operational procedures
• Focuses on driving Safety, quality, and productivity

Position Requirements:

Education & Technical Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline
• 5 years of experience in materials (purchasing, planning, inventory control, etc.) or equivalent required
• 3 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment or manufacturing management preferred
• Due to ITAR restrictions and defense contract requirements, candidates must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident/Green Card Holder, or Protected Individual).

Certifications & Competencies:

• Strong communication and organizational skills to support process, manufacturing, and design engineering functions
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to share knowledge at appropriate levels of the organization

Compensation, Benefits & Legal:

Total Rewards & Compensation

• Base Salary Range: $135,000 - $155,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
• Incentive Compensation: Eligible for an annual performance-based bonus dependent on company and individual performance metrics.
