Job summary

Aptiv Interconnect is seeking a strategic and hands-on Supply Chain Manager to drive efficiency and support scaling operations in Melbourne, FL. You will strengthen cross-site collaboration, improve demand and inventory visibility, and standardize processes to support operational goals.

You will lead forecasting, supplier management, and automation initiatives, while building relationships with leadership and driving the supply chain strategy for the Hermetics division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, purchasing, or procurement.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Visual, Global Shop) and knowledge of regulatory standards (AS9100/ITAR) is desirable.
• Understanding of U.S. export controls and industry regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Supply Chain Ownership: forecast buying & planning to optimize stock levels and production flow.
• Supplier Management: implement and manage supplier scorecards and reviews for accountability.
• Process Improvement & Automation: drive automation via ERP to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Long-Term Agreements: develop purchasing strategies focused on long-term agreements to stabilize costs.
• Operational Structure: standardize purchasing and planning processes, including ABC coding.
• Team Collaboration: work with purchasing staff and production leadership to meet daily requirements while driving strategic initiatives.
