Job summary

Blue Sky Utility is seeking a hands-on Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, logistics, vendor management, and material planning for solar, BESS, and data center power projects nationwide.

The ideal candidate will drive sourcing strategies, negotiate EPC contracts, manage supplier performance, and ensure regulatory and cost-effective execution with a strong focus on risk mitigation and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 7+ years of supply chain, procurement, or sourcing leadership experience
• Procurement experience in utility-scale solar, BESS, or power infrastructure projects
• Strong contract negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills
• Experience negotiating EPC contracts and equipment supply agreements (TSAs/LTSAs)
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced growth environment
• Strong Excel and reporting skills
• Willingness to work hybrid in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and procurement of major equipment (solar modules, inverters, transformers, BESS gear, trackers, racking)
• Negotiate EPC contracts and TSAs/LTSAs; set scope, pricing, schedule, and performance guarantees
• Manage supplier contracts, terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and pricing with vendors
• Build and maintain preferred vendor relationships to support long-term growth
• Identify alternate suppliers and contingency strategies to reduce risk
• Monitor tariffs, pricing trends, and supply constraints affecting solar and storage
• Ensure compliance with FEOC, domestic content, UFLPA, and tariff rules
• Coordinate material flow to multiple project sites across states
• Oversee transportation, warehousing, and OFE deliveries; domestic and international shipments
