Planted Solar is seeking an organized and execution-focused Senior Procurement and Supply Chain Lead to own the end-to-end supply chain for our solar projects, including for structural and DC electrical BOS materials. You will manage the lifecycle from BOM and specifications through to on-site delivery, coordinating with Project Managers and Field teams to ensure on-time and on-budget project completion.

• 5+ years in operations, procurement, sourcing, and/or supply chain managing projects with external timelines.
• Experience managing multiple suppliers domestically and internationally.
• Proven track record in supplier performance management and risk mitigation.
• Technical literacy to understand specifications and engineering drawings for material compliance.
• Knowledge of logistics operations, shipping docs, and freight and customs.
• Excellent communication and extreme organization.
• Driven and outcome-oriented; able to navigate complex project dynamics.
• Located in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate for 100% in-person role.

Responsabilidades

• Manage project procurement for the entire BOM, verify specs with Project Engineers and Engineering teams, track lead times and quantities (including spares).
• Coordinate material delivery and on-site movement logistics aligned with milestones.
• Place and manage POs through full lifecycle to meet delivery dates.
• Track procurement status and inform Project Managers on installation timelines.
• Bridge PMs and Field Team to align on delivery, logistics, and on-site constraints.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure reliability, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Evaluate supplier performance and identify cost, reliability, and lead-time improvements.
• Identify, evaluate, and pre-qualify new suppliers to meet project needs.
• Forecast material needs with the project pipeline, especially long-lead items.
• Lead improvements to procurement and logistics workflows to increase efficiency.
• Support processes for triggering orders and validating material delivery.
• Travel as needed to understand field operations and validate material standards.
• Coordinate transportation and logistics with freight brokers and internal teams to ensure timely shipments.
• Maintain records of POs, certifications, and certificates of conformance.
