Job summary

Johnson Matthey in West Chester, PA, is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead site supply chain activities, including production planning, scheduling, inventory control, logistics, and shipping. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Commercial, Finance, Quality, Engineering, and the Global Supply Chain team to optimize working capital and deliver outstanding customer service.

The role will drive S&OE and IBP/S&OP processes, lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity,

Qualifications

Technical and/or business bachelor’s degree is required.
Experience in materials management with project and line responsibilities, including production scheduling and shop floor control.
Experience with Organisational Change.
Experience with US and international customs regulations; APICS certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead, develop, and coach the site Supply Chain team, fostering accountability and customer focus.
Own the site's S&OE process and develop a robust rolling production schedule balancing demand and capacity.
Partner with Global Supply Chain to support IBP/S&OP with regular reviews of demand, supply, inventory and capacity.
Maintain and improve Schedule Adherence to meet customer commitments.
Drive world-class customer service through planning, inventory management and cross-functional coordination.
Monitor inventory levels and lead initiatives to reduce working capital and improve turns.
