Confidential Jobs.(USA) is partnering with a growing medical device company to hire its first Director of Supply Chain. The role will own supply chain, purchasing, inventory and production planning, and will shape the ERP implementation planned for 2027.

The successful candidate will bring 8–12 years in SC and a track record leading teams, with hands-on ERP experience and the ability to navigate FDA/ISO environments during growth.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in supply chain, purchasing and production planning; at least 3 years leading people.
• Experience in FDA-regulated or ISO 13485 environment; medical device strongly preferred.
• Hands-on involvement in at least 1 ERP implementation or major upgrade.
• Experience negotiating supply agreements and setting up consignment, pre-stucking or ship-on-demand programmes.

Responsabilités

• Build and own a rolling 3-year supply chain strategy and present to leadership.
• Own purchasing, pricing, lead times and terms; negotiate supplier agreements.
• Set up supplier-held stock, consignment or ship-on-demand programmes.
• Lead ERP implementation and design future-state workflows for procurement, MRP, inventory and traceability.
• Track KPIs: inventory turns, OTIF, on-time delivery and forecast accuracy.
• Manage cross-border supply including tariffs and customs.
• Develop and supervise a Supply Chain Coordinator; ensure 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485 and UDI compliance.
