Job summary

Volvo Cars is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to manage assigned suppliers and parts to secure production material for the Volvo Cars production plan. You will optimize material flow, monitor safety stock and lead times, and prevent disruptions through proactive escalation.

You will work with MP&L teams, coach suppliers, and use tools like VSIM and EDI to standardize supplier performance. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain/Logistics Management or related field.
• Strong knowledge of MRP and lead times.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with both international and domestic supplier communications.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Understanding of Tier1 supplier operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier setup, safety stock, and parameters.
• Maintain MRP parameter settings to optimize material flow.
• Evaluate EDI call-offs and ASN accuracy.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Collaborate with MP&L and cross-functional teams.
• Coach suppliers to improve delivery performance.
• Follow up on supplier changes and engineering changes.
• Track KPIs and support targets.
