Job summary

Axiom seeks a licensed U.S. attorney to join our team as a Supply Chain Attorney.

The role focuses on advising supply chain, manufacturing and operations teams on commercial matters involving suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and logistics providers, with responsibilities spanning drafting, reviewing and negotiating procurement, transportation, warehousing and distribution agreements. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in supply chain or logistics law, strong knowledge of

Qualifications

• Licensed U.S. attorney with 3+ years of experience practicing law, with a focus on supply chain, transportation, or logistics law, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department setting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. transportation laws and regulations, and international laws and regulations relevant to supply chain management, including the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), Incoterms, and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) ideal.
• Experienced drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements related to supply chain processes, including vendor, supplier, distribution, and service agreements.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel and support to clients on supply chain and transportation contracts, including drafting and negotiating agreements for procurement, transportation services, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
• Advise clients on regulatory compliance matters related to transportation and logistics, including federal transportation regulations, import/export controls, environmental regulations, customs laws, and international trade regulations.
• Assist clients in mitigating supply chain risks, including supplier disputes, product recalls, supply disruptions, and compliance with ethical sourcing standards.
