Job summary
Axiom seeks an experienced Contracting Lawyer with 5+ years in-house healthcare legal experience to draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of healthcare contracts, including SaaS, IT, and procurement. You will collaborate across procurement, IT, supply chain, and business development to advance commercial objectives and mitigate risk.
You will implement best practices for contract management and provide strategic guidance on regulatory compliance, including HIPAA/HITECH and state privacy
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of in-house legal experience in healthcare.
- Proven expertise in SaaS, IT, procurement, and supply chain contract management.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA/HITECH and state privacy laws.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of healthcare contracts (SaaS, IT, procurement, supply chain).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support commercial objectives.
- Develop and implement best practices for contract management and risk mitigation.
- Assist in resolving contractual disputes and provide risk assessment advice.
- Stay informed about industry trends to address potential business impact.
- Provide strategic legal guidance to internal stakeholders on contract-related issues.
